One of the most popular requests is for a work trouser with knee pads.  These first started to be used for carpet fitters, floor layers and similar trades who spent a lot of time kneeling but now the majority of styles offer this feature.  Knee pads add comfort even if you only kneel down occasionally, and surprisingly make working from a ladder much more comfortable.  If you work outdoors, and kneel down on damp ground, the pad also prevents the moisture and cold getting through to your skin.
