Special hazard gloves are all those that are required for slightly unusual applications, or comply to different regulations than the standard EN388.
This section includes welders gauntlets which are also great for general heat resistance - in fact, they are the exact gloves that wood burning stove companies usually charge £15 for!! Also included are rubber chemical gauntlets - these are designed for industrial use but because of their long length (up to 24", that is full arm length!) they are often bought for cleaning ovens, clearing blocked drains etc. when you really need full protection in a highly resistant material.

This section also includes some cut resistant gloves and sleeves that are used by glass companies, sheet metal manufacturers etc that need high levels of cut, tear or puncture resistance. Also included are a few high tech styles, such as for use with power tools or to reduce vibrations caused by other machinery.
