The rigger boot is a traditional style of industrial safety boot and has been around for donkey's years. There are a number of modern variations, and innovations in materials but the general style has remained the same. There have numerous rumours in recent years that rigger boots have been, or are about to be, banned. This is simply not true but seems to spread by chinese whispers nonetheless.
