Chasseurnord (also called Chasseur Neo) wellingtons are handcrafted by master bootmakers from natural rubber
Full length zip with a totally waterproof gusset behind. Water cannot penetrate even if the zip is left open.
Zips require very little maintenance. You should try to avoid a build up of mud and dirt as this can cause stiffness in the zip. You can do this simply by washing mud away with cold water. Even better is periodic treatment with zip lubricant such as Zip Lube (search for product code ZIPL)
Lined with neoprene (wetsuit material). Le Chameau pioneered the use of neoprene in wellington boots. It warms quickly and is so effective because the lining traps little pockets of air which once warm prevent the loss of body heat.
Constructed from natural rubber the women's Chasseurnord is supple robust and waterproof. Unlike PVC and cheaper alternatives natural rubber maintains these properties even at low tempertaures. This makes the Vierzonord ideal for our cold British winters
Le Chameau Chasseurnord are therefore ideally suited to the temperature range +15 to -5 Centigrade (23 to 59 Farenheit)
Supplied in traditional and recognisable Le Chameau green cardboard boxes. Please note that when shipping outside the UK we may remove the wellingtons from the box to reduce the weight and volume of the package allowing us to maintain our low shipping rates
