Bone China Fishermans Mug - Rainbow Trout

Text on mug reads: Originally from North America, the Rainbow Trout (Salmo gairdneri) is now fished throughout Europe although re-stocking is usually necessary to maintain numbers. Highly prized for the table and intensively bred in ponds and reservoirs, this handsome fish provides good sport and large specimens may be over three feet in length. Trout spawn between November and May in running water, the eggs being deposited in shallow troughs on the river bed.
